Orire Abduction: Suspects Admit Terror Group Membership, Concealing Vital Information

 

IBADAN, Nigeria – Two individuals standing trial in connection with the abduction of victims in Orire Local Government Area of Oyo State have pleaded guilty to charges of belonging to a terrorist group and concealing information that could have assisted security agencies in preventing criminal activities.

The defendants entered their guilty pleas when they appeared before the court to answer charges filed by the prosecution. The case is part of ongoing efforts by Nigerian authorities to crack down on terrorism, kidnapping, and other violent crimes across the country.
