‘We Can’t Keep Pretending’ – 2Baba Urges Government to Tackle Otukpo Violence
Nigerian music icon 2Baba has called on government authorities to take decisive action to address the persistent violence in Otukpo and other parts of Benue State, saying the situation can no longer be ignored.
Reacting to the growing insecurity in the area, the singer expressed concern over the recurring attacks and the loss of lives, urging leaders at all levels to move beyond rhetoric and implement practical solutions to restore peace.
According to 2Baba, the continued violence has left many families devastated and communities living in fear, stressing that the government must demonstrate greater commitment to protecting citizens.
He appealed to security agencies and relevant authorities to intensify efforts to end the bloodshed, ensure justice for victims, and prevent further attacks.
