Evang. Rosemary Olufunke Fatokun is a passionate minister of the gospel through music, a seasoned educator, and a respected master of ceremonies for traditional marriage ceremonies. Through decades of dedication to God and humanity, she has become an inspiration to many people within and beyond her community.

Early Life and Education

Born on 15th December 1966, Evang. Rosemary Olufunke Fatokun hails from Oke-Onigbin, Kwara State, Nigeria. She began her educational journey at L.A. Primary School, Oko, Kwara State, where she attended from 1973 to 1979. She later proceeded to ECWA Girls Secondary School, Omu-Aran, completing her secondary education between 1979 and 1984.

Driven by her passion for teaching, she attended Teachers’ Training College from 1986 to 1988. Her commitment to education continued as she earned her Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) between 2014 and 2017.

Career and Service

Evang. Fatokun is an accomplished educator who served as the proprietress of Twins Sister Nursery and Primary School from 1993 to 2000. Her passion for nurturing young minds reflects her lifelong commitment to shaping future generations.

Beyond teaching, she has served as a respected Alaga Iduro and Alaga Ijoko since 2019, bringing grace, wisdom, and cultural excellence to traditional Yoruba engagement and wedding ceremonies.

A Journey in Gospel Music

Music has been a central part of Evang. Rosemary Fatokun’s life from childhood. She began singing at a tender age as a member of the church choir, where her love for worship and gospel music was born.

Over the years, she has grown into a gifted composer, songwriter, and band leader. In 2000, she officially established her music ministry as the leader of the Rosemary Glorious Gospel Singer band.
