PFIPC: Lawyer Demands Arrest of Gbajabiamila, Accountant-General, Head of Service
A legal practitioner has called for the arrest of the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, the Accountant-General of the Federation, and the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation over alleged issues linked to the Presidential Fleet and Infrastructure Projects Committee (PFIPC).
The lawyer argued that the officials should be investigated and held accountable over their alleged roles in matters concerning the committee, insisting that no public official should be above the law.
According to the legal practitioner, law enforcement agencies should immediately commence investigations and take appropriate action if any wrongdoing is established.
The demand comes amid growing calls for transparency and accountability in the management of public institutions and government projects.
The affected officials have yet to publicly respond to the allegations at the time of filing this report.
