Jigawa Commissioners Panic as Gov. Namadi Finds Offices Locked During Surprise Visit

 

Fear and anxiety reportedly swept through the Jigawa State Executive Council after Governor Umar Namadi paid an unannounced visit to the State Secretariat in Dutse and discovered that several commissioners' offices were locked during official working hours. The surprise inspection was aimed at assessing punctuality, discipline, and the level of commitment among government officials.

According to reports, the governor was visibly displeased after finding a number of commissioners and senior government officials absent from their offices without explanation. The unexpected visit exposed lapses in attendance and raised concerns about accountability within the state government.

Sources within the government said the inspection has triggered panic among commissioners and top civil servants, many of whom now fear possible sanctions or disciplinary measures.
